Norway Post pleased to release a set of two stamps for celebrating Christmas Season 2005 on November 19, 2005. The stamps depict Christmas motives .
Christmas trees are most associated with Christmas. Ginger bread biscuits are also part of Christmas and this stamp shows a Christmas tree made of gingerbread biscuits sprinkled with icing sugar.
The oranges on this stamp are decorated with twenty-four clove buds and thus also function as advent calendars. The oranges have been placed on a dish of nuts.
