The traditional illustrations featured on the Niue Christmas 2012 stamp issue portray the Nativity story - from the angel's announcement of Jesus's birth to the holy family in the manger and the visits from the wise men and the shepherds.
Along with the issuance the Christmas stamp, Niue Post also issued the First Day Cover . The cover have illustrated Joseph and Virgin Mary are traveling to Bethlehem city.
